Staying active during the pandemic COVID-19

Everything is closed including gyms. I guess we are all going to have to stay home and eat chips for a few weeks, there is nothing else to do…

Or is there?

For most of us, it is probably our first time seeing something like this, a situation with such devastating potential that most stores, gyms, restaurants and bars are closed to prevent a global disaster. A lot of people are currently not working, at home wondering what to do. Please do not let yourself die in your bed for days, watching Netflix and eating finger food. This will only make your life harder when everything gets back to normal.

Instead, be active! Unless you are a very advance bodybuilder or powerlifter, you do not require a full gym to stay fit. Look around you, water jog, chair, desk, couch, use what is around you to workout.

Not a lifting kind of person, no problem, go outside for a walk, a run, a bike ride, you name it. You are not allowed to go outside because of the corona virus, do you have stairs? I guess it is time to go up and down the stairs then! No stairs? No problem, turn on YouTube and search for “home cardio workout”.

All that to tell you guys to stay active. I understand that times are difficult right now but take advantage of the time off and use that time for yourself.
