biggest mall in canada

I visited the largest mall in North America

After just over six weeks, stuck on a military base in the middle of Alberta, I decided to leave for the weekend and have a little bit of fun time with myself.

My friend was nice enough to give me his vehicle for the weekend, so I jumped in it and left Wainwright for the first time since I arrived. I drove just over two hours and went visiting Edmonton.

My plan was, train in a cool gym, visit the West Edmonton Mall and eat good food. I can tell you right now, MISSON ACCOMPLISHED!

After a good night of sleep, I started my Saturday morning at the Goodlife gym located at the Edmonton Brewery District which was, hands down the nicest gym I have ever been in my life. Following my workout, I had a quick bite at my favorite place for post workout meals, Freshii.

Then, it was time to head out to the West Edmonton Mall. Upon arrival, it took me over 15 minutes to get one of their 20,000 parking spots… But when I went in, I understood the hype! First thing I saw was a sea lion show, in a mall, yes! From there my expectations were pretty high, obviously.

This mall have over 800 stores and kiosques, a full team park with the biggest indoor rollercoaster in the world, which I rode for only $15,75… I then visited my favorite store, the Disney Store of course followed by an amazing virtual reality experience at The Void.

The West Edmonton Mall also has a full waterpark, mini golf, movie theatre, themed hotel and much more.

Eight hours and almost 15,000 steps later, I can say that my day at the mall was a blast! Check out my YouTube video to see all about it!
